These Terms govern access to SurplusSwap for schools, opportunity owners, providers, and other authorized users.

Last updated: June 26, 2026

Use of SurplusSwap

SurplusSwap provides software and related services for surplus workflows, request management, provider coordination, credit visibility, and related organizational operations.

Users may access the platform only on behalf of an authorized school, company, provider, district, or other organization, or as otherwise permitted by SurplusSwap.

Accounts and profile types

SurplusSwap supports different profile types, including school profiles and opportunity owner profiles. Each profile type may see different tools, records, workflows, and permissions.

Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for ensuring that information submitted through the platform is accurate and authorized.

Platform content

Users and organizations are responsible for the forms, requests, credit records, provider information, bids, notes, files, and other content they submit or manage in SurplusSwap.

By submitting content, users confirm they have the rights and permissions needed to provide that content and allow SurplusSwap to process it for platform operation.

Credits, claims, and provider activity

Credit balances, claim links, requests, bids, and provider information are operational records displayed for convenience and workflow management.

Unless separately agreed in writing, SurplusSwap does not guarantee availability, timing, valuation, provider performance, redemption outcomes, or third-party service availability.

Acceptable use

Users may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, submit unlawful or misleading information, reverse engineer the service, or use SurplusSwap to violate another party's rights.

SurplusSwap may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account or organization is misusing the platform or creating risk for other users, providers, or the service.

Third-party services

SurplusSwap may connect with third-party services for authentication, hosting, email delivery, data storage, payment or redemption links, provider communication, and other platform functions.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. SurplusSwap is not responsible for third-party systems outside our control.

Disclaimers and limitations

SurplusSwap is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SurplusSwap will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
